Unit 7 – Developing Listening Skills
Q3- In my opinion, Using the live teacher listening method is great to be done by both the native and non-native teachers, but the non-native teachers need to evaluate their pronunciation of the vocabulary with "at least" another native teacher so that the sts get the vocabulary correctly.
"Every couple of weeks we watch a video, I make a worksheet with comprehension questions for the students to guide their view." Non-interactive.
Q2- For me I use this method every day due to the curriculum I have from the company I work for. I do exactly the same. Some times, I read a paragraph (or ask one of the sts to do so) for them from their coursebook but they have to close the books. After finishing reading that part, I ask them one or two questions. I do that from time to time and the sts like it because it's an unexpected activity.
