TIPS FOR A BETTER SLEEPING HABITS

Most of us, in my opinion, are not really conscious about the importance of having a good sleep rutine. It is not just a matter of being more or less tired the following day: a lack of sleep can also provoke heart disease: heart attack, heart failureI, irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure.....stroke, diabetes, etc.

It can also affect to our cognitive processes in many ways: it impairs attention, alertness, concentration, reasoning, and problem solving, etc.

Our stressed nowadays lives together with the conciliation between work and family life, could drive us to go to bed late and overthinking. To guarantee ourselves a good health condition, it is important to begin with taking care of our resting time following some simple tips:

1 Prepare your sleep avoiding some stimulant drinks, such as, coffee or tea, isotonic or sugared ones neither.
2 Make your bed comfortable, using nice sheets and pillows, that invite you to rest in a good mattress.
3 Avoid taking work to bed and also your mobile or tablet, they won´t help you to relax.
4 The room temperature is also important, take out the humidity or make it warmer or cooler, according to your atmosphere conditions.
5 Noises and lights conditions are also important. Use a sleep mask or ear plugs.
6 Go to bed early, or at a time that it guarantees enough sleep (about 7 hour)
