Out: Sunflower oil was consiodered, many years ago, to be good to reduce high cholesterol levels. It was considered healthier than olive oil and people who were on a diet used this oil. Nowadays, olive oil is considered better to reduce cholesterol.

In: Blue fish. Years ago blue fish was considered to have a lower quality than white fish, and was cheaper as well. Nowadays, blue fish is considered very healthy as it contains omega 3, which is good for your heart and your cholesterol levels too. It's not cheap anymore.
