One list (but not The One)

One list (but not The One)

It's so difficult for me to make my 10 best albums list. But I essay to do the list of the 10 albums of my life, with the groups and albums that have been important in different times, until now.

1. Els esquirols: Fent camí
2. Celtas Cortos: Nos vemos en los bares
3. Doctor Calypso: Toxic Sons
4. Pedro Guerra: Raíz
5. Jorge Drexler: Eco
6. Georges Moustaki: Ma Solitude
7. Lluís Llach: Campanades a mort
8. Joaquín Sabina: 19 días y 500 noches
9. Dusminguet: Vafalungo
10. Els Pets: Pantalons curts i els genolls pelats

I know it's not very international, but I suppose it's quite normal to listen to the music of one's contries. So, that's it!

Pieter,

Thanks for your correction! It's always useful to have this kind of feed-back.

"Els Esquirols" was a group (which doesn't play together any more) that sang a kind of folk and protest songs, and that was created on 1968-69 by people from Osona and Bages. They had a notable success between the young people then, and I heard them in my parent's house since I was a little girl. I can say I grew up with their songs.

"Dusminguet" was a group which I used to listen to a lot since I was 16 years all to my 18 or 20's . It was a fusion group from La Garriga which had a very particular sound, inspired by the music of different countries of the world (Morocco, Brazil, Colombia). They sang in Catalan, Spanish, French, Portuguese... They sand in many languages, in fact. In 2002 the man who played the bass died in a concert in Mexico by an electrical shock, and the group was dissolved two years later.

Of course, you can find more information of both on Google!

See you,
Anna
