Hello classmates,

I realize that the music isn’t one of my favorite activities on my free time. I like listen music, but I don’t buy any CD, the last CD’s I bought were recompilations to Barry White, Michael Jackson, I bought a disc of Hugh Larry (he is an actor and a musician), I bought and Indian music in a travel to Germany, a Chinese music in a travel to Beijin, and this summer I went to the guitar concert and I bought a CD guitar music. I don’t have a line, when I like some I bought, in general I listen radio, and I enjoy more to listen news than music. However, I like a catalan group “els Manels” and sometimes I listen your CD, specially I like the track that speak about the family, the summer and the boomerang.

As I'm the second one to post in the Forum, and since the previous poster says she rarely enjoys listening to music, I'll start with my top 10 list.
Let me begin saying I'm into music. A lot. Any kind. I'm very curious and never reject listening to any kind of music at last once.
I used to be a modette -well, you just can't stop being it, can you?, so I'm into any kind of 60s music: jazz, latin, ska, rock steady, rhythm and blues, garage, 60s punk, funk, soul, northern soul and so on. My husband used to be a b-boy. We met at high school and still now enjoy our music battles: he puts on a record (yes, we have not one but two turntables) and I must say whose sample is playing. To spice things up, my father is into 50s rock, rhythm and blues, and country. And my numerous older cousins introduced me to a wide range of music of the 80s. To end this cocktail, I must add I used to live in Hull during the Halcyon Days of Britpop and Acid Jazz, so I know every band from that period time.

1. The Artwoods. Art Gallery
2. The Stone Roses. The Stone Roses
3. The Great Society.
4. Electric Prunes. Too much to dream
5. Public enemy. Fear of a black planet
6. Sly & the Family Stone. Dance to the music
7. Beastie Boys. Check your head
8. Totally wired. Any album
9. Jimmy Smith. Jimmy Smith Trio + LD
10. El último de la fila. Como la cabeza al sombrero.
I hope you, posters, enjoy the selection. They are worth a listen.
