Hi,
I read some articles on the Internet about the consequences of a giant asteroid hitting Earth and it's very scary! Obviously, the consequences depend on different circumstances such as the size and the speed of the asteroid, and the impact zone. A lot of asteroids strike our planet every year but they are small. However, a giant asteroid would destroy our civilization, although the chances that it strike our planet are very small. It would produce a nuclear explosion, earthquakes, tsunamis and a nuclear winter effect, and people should go to warmest areas of Earth to survive.
