2. My town
I’m from Solsona, a town in the center of Catalonia . Solsona is the town where I was born. Solsona have a 9000 inhabitants and has grown to become a multi-cultural town.
It’s in the mountains and there aren’t a beaches. The climate it’s good.
It has old and new buildings in the old quarter.
In the old quarter you can visit the Ice well, the gothic church and narrow streets with different squares and sources.
Solsona have a one beautiful castle with a little church situated at 3 km of Solsona and when you goes there, you can see a good view.
The best time to visit Solsona are spring and summer because there are a lot of activities to doing. Solsona have a one theatre and cinema. Also have a lot of shops.
The hotels and restaurants there aren’t expensive. There are a lot of restaurants to eat traditional food from Solsona.
Barcelona is a big city situated at the cost.
In Barcelona you can visit more interesting and famous buildings than Solsona.
The city has one beach, her name is Barceloneta and it has a big harbour.
The climate at the winter it’s cold and the summer is hotter than Solsona because Barcelona have a beach and the climate is humid.
The hotels and restaurants there are more expensive than Solsona.
In Barcelona you can take the bus or the metro.
3. Your opinion
I think that it’s bad to have the Olympic games in Solsona because is a little town and Barcelona is better than Solsona because have a lot of interesting buildings and have a good installations, have a beach, and is bigger than Solsona.
