Lacrosse or Intercross or Vilorta is a fast play, between two teams of ten players each team, that they use a stich with a net in extremity, which they have to cross and get a ball for score a goal against the oposite team. In de present time, lacrosse play with three players in front, three in middle, also three in defense and one player protecting the goal.
The court surface may be natural or synthetic turf. The men wear helmets and to maintain bodily integrity is a fundamental part of the game. Women wear goggles, but less protective than men because they are not allowed sudden physical encounters between players. This sport is very popular in the United States east coast between universities and secondary schools.
