BLACK STORK LIVES IN FOREST NEAR LAKES OR RIVERS IN THE PENINSULA IBERICA.
THEY ARE IN DANGER OF EXTINCTION BECAUSE OF DEFORESTATION, ILLEGAL HUNTING, ETC.
TODAY THERE ARE VERY FEW STORKS IN THE SOUTHWEST OF THE PENINSULA.
THE ANCIENT KAKAPO IS ONE OF THE MORE COMMON PARROT IN THE WORLD.
IT IS THE ONLY FLIGHTLESS AND NOCTURNAL PARROT, AS WELL AS BEING THE HEAVIEST IN THE WORLD, WEIGHING UP TO 3,5 KGS.
