1. What do you think of this advice?
I completely agree to have a laughter therapy at work, especially since I work in an elementary school. Being humor has a meaningful impact on cohesiveness in the classroom and communication quality among students and teachers. I always try to make fun situations while we are having classes, because this makes kids feel comfortable and relax. If you want an improvement in your students, you have to create a lighthearted place which helps to have a productivity and creativity environment.
2. What other advice would you add?
Holding silly events: This is something we often do at school, we encourage ridiculousness by having a pajamas day, or a dress-up day, bringing their favorite toys or gameboards, origami contests, and so on. Kids love to do different activities when they are at school.
3. Laughter at Home: Creating a laughter environment inside the house, helps us to unite as a family and have a good communication. In Spanish there is a saying "En el pedir está el dar." This help us to create a nice atmosphere at home, because if you use funny situations to ask for something, your children and your partner will do it because they enjoy the way things are asked. Some advices could be: Asking funny questions; create laughter that causes delight because it brings people together; slow down - by getting enough sleep and by resting from work on Sundays, laughter is much more pesent and much more possible; spend time with people-being with them, in the presence of their joy, made us laugh together; play, do not take life too seriously; finally, pray for laughter, it's a chance to reflect with gratitude upon the moments of joy, the moments of delightful absurdity, in our lives.
