My worst shopping experience

My worst shopping experience took place in one of the most crowded markets at China. No one forewarned me about the pressing a Chinese sales man could make while trying to sale anything. I asked for the price of a silk scarf. The sales man started with a price that seemed to me very expensive. Then, I left the store without buying it. And he insisted lowering the price. I said "no thanks" and continue walking. He followed me out side the store persisting in his effort to sell it to me. I didn't´know what to do to stop him following me so I bought it in order for him to stop pursuing me. It was an aggressive way of selling.

Thanks for your story Marcela! I guess the man didn't want to let the "rich foreigner" escape! :) Was the scarf nice?
See you,
Pieter

My worst shopping experience was when I was buying some T-shirts for the school, but I didnt found my size, for what I asked an assistant of the shop, asking if he had my size, but the assitant react very aggressively and he said that should not bother him, so I placed myself very bravely and went away of this shop and from this moment I have not returned to this shop.

One of my worst shopping experience was a UGG pair of boots that I bought on an online shop.
I was looking for a present for my nephew and I found a very good offer on a website. Although I am not a trademark expert, I did realized that the price was unusually low for this type of boots.
At the beginning I thought that the boots were not authentic but the website looked fine so at the end I decided to continue shopping.
I add the boots to the chart and did the payment with the credit card.
Then I checked my inbox and my suspicions became real. No automatic e-mail confirming the shop.
When I tried to find the Customer service contact number, the website was no longer available.
The only e-mail that I've found was a fake address and of course it didn't work.
What really strange is that I bought 2 pairs of boots and I received one pair, only the second one was missing, so I finally lost 150 €.
The website disappeared after few days so it was a fake for sure, but they still send me half of the shopping. I never understood that. I make a report to the police and send it to my bank to try to claim the money back. I never got an answer and let it go. I was really frustrated that time. At least I learned something, never try any website if I am not 100% sure that is a legal one.

I felt very bad for this, some days later I complained to the supermaket but never received response.
