Robert Frost, he was an American poet, considered to be one of the founders of the modern poetry in its country for expressing, with philosophical simplicity and sentimental depth, the life and emotions of the rural man of New England. I like reading its poems because it transports us to a different world, to a world of fantasy and madness, of laughs and strong emotions, he is a very special author for whom he wants to begin to read poetry

Hello!!

I like the poetry, I prefer the novel, however in my country are famous the verses of Jose Asuncion Silva and Alvaro Mitis. About the snake I don't like this animal because is dangerous, some species are venomous, and appear when somebody are distracted, in Colombia the species more know are anaconda and boa constrictor, they live in Amazonas region.

I found some pages where you can find poems in English for example: eltiempohabitado.blog and culturacolectiva.com in these pages you can read the poem while practice pronunciation, because they show you how is the correct entonation, the poems are short and easy for understand.
About the poets I want write about Jose Asuncion Silva, he was born in Bogota Colombia in 1865 and died in the same city in 1986 his more famous poems are: “The silent voices” and “diseases of childhood” he represented the modernism literature, was educated in high class, and suicided when he was thirty years.
