By no means, it's rare.

Does your family name tell you anything about your family (e.g., where you come from)?
Yes, but not much, because it's rarity there's not a lot of information about it, but I know that it's from Cataluña, Spain.

Some English names refer to trades or professions, such as Butcher or Baker. Does your name mean anything? Are there any names in your country that do?
Yes, according to it's germanic origin means 'Espada Veloz'.

Uff!, most of them. For example, María, Juan, Fernanda, Miguel, Alejandra, Mario.

Usually their first name, because it's the way we do it in our culture. And in the case of the second name is a matter of preference.

As far I can remember no, we usually use a title. I can't think in any situation in which you can use just their surname, so, what I can tell you?
