NIKKI INTERACTION WITH DOLPHINS.
Well, I have read an article that says some animals can help people who suffered from different health problems. So, In the case of Nikki, having him been exposed to dolphins was beneficial. The sounds that dolphins make underwater, could have helped him.
In my point of view, we as humans, interact differently with animals and nature according to the development of our senses. Then, people like Nikki, may perceive and interact with certain animals in a unique way.

My theory here is that Nikki had to awake a different sense when interacting with the dolphins. And as a consequence, this triggered some can of emotion and perception that helped him pronounce his first words. I believe this is possible because dogs can perceive sounds that humans cannot, or whales perceive certain vibrations underwater and communicate through them. So, animals can communicate in different ways that humans can not perceive but that exists. Giving the possibility of dolphins helping some way in the Nikki situation.

What I know is that scientists are studying the benefits of human and animal interactions in the treating of health problems. And for example, they have found out that dogs, may help people with depression problems because dogs can reduce loneliness, increase feelings of social support, and boost your mood. Another example is the interaction between Guinea pigs and kids who have autism or hyperactivity disorder, or attention déficit. Guinea pigs, help these kids to feel more relaxed.

About the issue of raising some money, some ideas could be selling tickets to win something. Also organize an event to create awareness of the certain illness and their treatments, so people can donate money. Go to youtube, and make videos such as the ice bucket challenge, so people know about this and can donate.
