The first one in the cyclism, drugs were found at the Bruno Rousell's Festina team in the Tour de France 1998. Secondly the Operacion Puerto in Spain, where the doctor Eufemio Fuentes was investigated and the names from Ivan Basso or Alberto Contador get related with performance-enhancing drugs. We can also find Maradona in the article's ranking. The football player was disqualified in the World Cup 1994 after he tested positive for ephredine. But in my opinion the worst case ever is Lance Armstrong's one, apparently he cheated all his seven Tour de France.
I also search for information about different doping drugs. EPO is for example a hormone that increase the formation of blood cells, due to it is used by endurance athletes and is very widespread in cyclism. On the other hand steroids are lipids, like testosterone or anabolic agents that are used for muscle-building.
