net search - trashy reallity show

I would like to talk about an elimination show called “A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila”. Actually, I have never watched it but I have heard about it when MTV-Spain broadcasted the USA's version of the show dubbed into Spanish.
It was a dating show where some men and women competed for the love of Tila Tequila. I guess it was not very different that similar dating programs as 'Farmer Wants a Wife' where single farmers have to choose a girl from a group of contestants. But the show of Tila Tequila has this extra morbidity point because she is supposed to be bisexual and she had to choose only one contestant of all the boys and girls. I guess that the show had also a lot of free publicity because there was a lot of criticism coming from the conservative communities or even from some religious groups. I have readed on the net that she finally chose a guy, so, after all, I guess everything went back to 'normality'.

LOL! What a great story Pau - I don't pay much attention to the TV, so I never heard about this show. Sounds terrible! :) Can I help?
it was not very different that similar dating programs = .. not different from similar programmes..
as 'Farmer Wants a Wife'= such as Farmer... / like Farmer...
morbidity point = This doesn't work in English:) Maybe you can say: has extra titillation points because...
I have readed = I read on the Net that.. The verb "read" is irrefular: read, read, read. The spelling is the same, but the present and the past and past participle are pronounced differently. /riiid/ and /red/
See you soon,
Pieter
