Some people actually enjoy watching commercials. Do you?
I don't like commercials, I think is a waste of time and sometimes they are too long that they make people lost the interest in the program.

What programmes have the most viewers where you live?
Soccer matches and soap operas have the most viewers.

Do TV programmes have content ratings in your country?
Yes, they point out the kind of audience they are focus on. They use the letters A, AA, B, B+ and C for adults.

Do you have a favourite channel?
I really enjoy watching series so, AXN is one of my favorite channels as well as NATGEO.

Would you ever consider being a contestant on reality show?
I don't think so, I don't like to be in the limelight, I prefer watch them.

How many remote controls do you have in your living room?
I have only one remore control.

In your opinion, what are the most exciting and the most boring programmes on TV?
In my opinion the most exciting programmes are the series because they keep the viewers expecting all the time. Perhaps, the most boring for me are the sports matches, just because I don't really like watching them. Of course, there are people who love them.

What kind of TV competitions are popular in your country?
The most popular competition is always the classic soccer match America-chivas.

Would you ever consider being a contestant on reality show?
I think, I would never consider being a contestant in a reality show, I don't like the fact that other can observe your private life.

Do you think show producers should be allowed to involve children in reality shows?
It depends on the kind of reality show, for instance, there are reality shows that allow parents to stay with their children and take care of them. They also help them to develop their abilities for singing or acting. In those cases, I think, they are good for those children.


3. Reality shows.

Advantages: participants have real contact with the real world of television, they meet important people such as producers, directors, actors, etc. they also learn about tv, They manage real situations, they gain experience.

Disadvantages: The viewers may love you or hate you, as a result you can improve your career or not. You don't have a private life and they take long time from your work and your family.

1. 1. Sometimes I enjoy commercials, most are boring, but some say it's important information, for example: a new movie or changes in the schedule of my favorite show.
2. 2. In my country Colombia the most popular TV programs are the games, especially when the national team play, after that the reality shows, the people like  those  when the contestants are children.
3. 3. In my country before a TV program begin its shows the appropriate age for can see the program, after eight o´clock in the evening, the programs are not recommended for childrens.
4. I have some favorite channels for example: National Geographic, History Channel and the sports channels, because I can see the football games.
5. 5. I haven´t thought to participate in TV programs, although my family say that I am good for answer the questions about history and art, the truth I´m a little shy for speak in public.
6. 6. In our flat with my wife we have two remote controls, in the living room and  other  in the bed room, my wife takes the one of bed room and I one the living room.
7. 7. I more like the docummentaries about the asian culture, and the football games, my favorite team mis Atletico Nacional and I see all the games, however the reality shows don´t like to me because are monotonus and the topics are the same always: fights and tears beetween the contestants.
8. 8. In my country are popular the programs with children's singers, I don't like these however the majority of people enjoying see the  vallenato music  been singing by children's , this a typicall rhythm of north coast of the country.
9. I dont agree with the childrens are contestants in TV shows, because I think that the TV producer want earn more money with the childrens, they are tender and with this caracteristic, the viewers like more see the program, and the producers sell more commercials, I think this is not ethical.
10. About the reality show, the principal advantage is the contestants can earn more money, because the awards are good, and they can show their features to the audience, in my country is frequently that the contestants after the competition, work in a TV programs or as singers. The disadvantage is the contestants may be obligated to make embarrassing things, for example make sensuales dances, and after that receive agresive commentaires by the viewers, the contents of some reality shows are inapropiated for the viewers.

In my country Colombia is famous a reality show called "challenge", in this competition, the contestants are divided in teams depending on the town were had born, and the contestants, developing differents phisycal and mental test, the award for the winners is money and the posibility of participated in a program of the channel productors. this show began in Colombia in 2003 and is issued each year the host always has been the same> "Margarita Rosa De Francisco".
