Answers:
1. About bears:

- Ursidae.
- Europe, Asia, North America and South America.
- They are nonretractile claws.
- Bears are typically solitaries, excepting mothers with their young.
- Not really. Many bears of northern hemisphere sleep during the winter and they don’t wake during all the period but it is not true hibernation. In true hibernators, body temperatures drop to near ambient and heart rate slows drastically. In bears, the body temperature drops only a few degrees from normal and heart rate slows only slightly.

2. About typical animals in Catalonia.

- Clever, for example, but also some other.
- It is typically nocturnal.
- It is medium size. It is a bit big than a cat but small than many dogs
