Animals and adjectives

Are the animals (lion, mule, bat, etc.) associated with the same adjectives in your language?
Yes, generally. In the several cases the adjective is similar, but not exactly. For exemple:
To be as brave as lion: "ser tan valent com un lleĆ³"
To be as quiet as fox: " ser tan astut com una guineu"
Tobe as stubborn as mule: " ser tan tossut com una mula o un ruc"
Can you think of any more animals that are associated with particular adjectives in your country?
This moment I'm remembering...
To be as faithful as dog.
To be as slow as turtle or as snail.
To be as bad as hyena.
To be as dirty as pig.
To be as sticky as limpet.
etc.
