The Spanish government agreed that the Japanese language can be useful for international relations. Likewise, states that from 2010, every high school student will have the Latin language as a compulsory subject in addition to Spanish language.
The government announced that the Esperanto and Arabic are not mandatory languages but offered as a free elective subjects.
