1. Grandfather Gordon was booking a restaurant for a family party. "The party," he said, "will consist of two fathers, two mothers, one father-in-law, one mother-in-law, one daughter-in-law, one grandmother, one grandfather, three sons, three daughters, two sisters, two brothers and four children." He was told the restaurant only seated 18 - so could he have his party there?
Answer - Yes, because he was only booking for a total of eight people himself, his wife, their son, his wife and their two daughters and two sons.
2. A man marries twenty women in his village but isn't charged with
polygamy.
Answer - He's a priest; he is marrying them to other people, not to
himself.
