Well most Feng Shui advisors place an importance on direction. Though that is the case, there are other things to note like placements of doors and window. For example, you may be sitting and facing a good direction, but having a door behind you leads to paranoia and mistrustful behavior, thus limiting your progress and support. This is the same with windows. If you face your ideal direction but have a window behind you, though you may have tapped into the flow of great ideas, you will feel unsupported and may be ignored thus never getting the chance to bring your ideas into fruition.
