travel companions / equipment

I wouldn't like to travel on a trip like Alexandra David-Neel's journey to Tibet. When I was younger I hadn't problems to travel on foot, with very little equipment and suffering but now I'm 33 and I like to travel with comfort, good hotels and restaurants. I'm not Indiana Jones.
In a weekend in the mountains I would take the next things: tent, carry mat, and sleeping bag to have a comfortable rest, a compass and a map to find the correct direction, a rucksack, a waterproof jacket because with my good luck the weather probably will be rainy, and a first -aid kit (is not difficult to me to fall down the mountain)
