Answers:
1- Have you, or has anyone you know, ever suffered from RSI or SAD?
Yes, I have suffered RSI
2- Do you make sure that you sit and type correctly when you use a computer or typewriter? Do you ever have pains in any parts of your body from using the computer for long periods of time?
I know that I don't sit and type correctly when I use my computer, so I've had pain in my back and my wrists.
3- What advice would you give to someone who has just bought a computer to prevent problems like RSI and aches and pains in the back, shoulders and arms? Write five suggestions. Read the suggestions of your classmates and vote for the best five.
I- keep your wrists straight and flat - never bend them in any direction.
II- Move the hands from the arms, not from the wrists.
III- Adjust your chair to your back. Sit down straight. Don't curve your back while sit.
IV- Take lots of breaks to give your body a chance to rest.
V- Alternate hands sometimes with the mouse and learn how to use more of the keyboard controls instead of the mouse.
4- Do you think the exercises described in READING are very useful and effective?
Yes, I think that
5- Do you do any exercises during or after working at a desk for a long period of time?
Sometimes I do any exercises, for example: I hold my my head with my left hand and then I strech it to may left shoulder. I do the same with the other hand.
