As part of McGraw-Hill Digital, theOnline Sponsoring Editor will enhance and build upon our suite of successful online resources for medical professionals. These innovative resources combine leading reference content with videos, animations, and interactive functionalities to provide quality medical education online. Working with both leading healthcare specialists and technology experts, the Online Sponsoring Editor will develop creative new solutions to online learning.
Essential Accountabilities:
Develop new digital projects and manage them and other ongoing projects through development and production to publication.
Collaborate with MH staff, authors, contributors, and software partners to deliver products on-time with rich feature sets that take full advantage of the digital medium and create a unique sales advantage for McGraw-Hill in the marketplace.
Editorial Initiative: identify and make recommendations for new projects and author relationships based on the content needs of customers in a highly competitive marketplace.
Innovation: evaluate existing products and find creative ways to improve and enhance.
Drive for Results: focus on bringing product to market with speed, accuracy and ingenuity.
Collaboration: work seamlessly with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including print editors, authors, production, technology, and marketing .
Time Management: prioritize and balance multiple projects, managing and meeting competing deadlines.
Attention to Detail: handle the myriad stages of development and associated paperwork and documentation that comprise the editorial process.
Technical Acumen: pursue expertise in cutting-edge technology and translate that knowledge to inform tactical and strategic decisions.
Bachelor's degree is required.
Minimum of 4 years digital experience.
Editorial experience
Experience with medical content
Experience with managing multiple vendors, or project management experience
