I would say an interviewer usually get impressed by features related to personality or appearance, communication skills, more than qualifications. Maybe work experience if it's really singular or extraordinary. An interviewer set an appointment with candidates that appàrently fulfil the desired professional profile, so that appearance and soft skills make the difference.
