I think that the first woman with red hair is a shy and probably moody person.
Instead, the second woman with short hair is talkative and cheerful.
The first man is shy but also cheerful, in contrast, the second man is shy and probably, short-tempered.

One thing: Instead = Here you can say: On the other hand, the second woman.....
