I'm absolutely agree with new technology. I'm my case it's totaly necessary.

I'm a person with low vision and for example thanks to technology I can use my computer as a normal person. This is possible because I have a software support and I can increments the size of the screen and then, see the words. The software can also read texts with a synth voice for me.

Tecnology is important for me because maybe in the future, medicine can cure my vision problem.

Certainly tecnological advances are very important for people in developed countries. However most of times we made a bad use of technologies, p.ex. children using cellulars or internet for downloading movies or music. Technologies should be used for solving world's troubles no for improving large companies profits. On the other hand peoples should worry about their intimacy because the uncontrolled powers of goverments and large companies.
