job like and don't like

Postby ainhoa » Mon Dec 21, 2009 6:46 pm

First of all I’ve to say I love my actual job, teaching, but there are many jobs I would like too. I graduated 13 years ago in Fine Arts, so it would be good to work like restorer, my speciality, or to be artist. I would like to live in a croft and take care about abandoned dogs and doing my art and restoration works.

The job I wouldn’t like to do is been a little boss in a big company, these companies earn thousand millions and they don’t have heart, so I wouldn’t like to be their henchman.

JOB I LIKE
I have some similarities with you because I am a teacher, too, as you, but in my case in a very big company placed arround the world.
I would prefer to teach Emotional Intelligence to children, in the school, because I feel that I arrive "late" trying to influence in people to be more assertive, better and happier.
But in the public school students didn't learn E.I. because nobody theach them. I know a privated school where the learners receive this social and emotional knowledge, thanks to a Teather teacher introduced it some years ago for all children from fifth course in Elemetary School.

I like my job, as you. And I am a little boss in a big company and I think that not everybody is their henchman. In any case, I can understand your point of view perfectly. Sometime I feel I am not in the right place but I do good job.

JOB I DON'T LIKE
I don't like to be a house cleaner. During my matternity leave, 14 years ago, I had the opportunity to rest at home a lot of hours, cleaning and cleaning again. And the following day if you want you can do again the same: to sweep, to wash the floor, the dishes, the clothes, to wipe... Do and redo every day the same. It had no sense to me.
