It's an alternative medicine technique whose proponents believe that patterns, colors, and other characteristics of the iris can be examined to determine information about a patient's systemic health.
The patients are examined by cameras orslitlamp microscopes.
This technique was discovered by an Hungarian physician. The story is that this pshysician got the idea for a diagnostic tool after seeing broken leg of an owl and then in the eyes of it had a white marks.
