Palmistry is the science of studying the hands of human beings.
One example is the Life Line: This line begins on the side of the hand between the thumb and the forefinger, and curves down around the mount of Venus. The life line indicates the Major events of a person’s life, and the quality of the physical energy.
According to palmistry:
- A strong, clear, and unbroken line indicates abundant physical energy and strength, and therefore the likelihood of good health and long life.
- If the line becomes weak or feathery at one point more than others this indicates difficulties and possible health problems at that stage in a person’s life.
- If it is crossed by smaller lines then this can indicate important events in a person’s life, such as marriage, retirement etc.

According to palmists the hands of a person can tell us a lot of things. For example, the colour of the hands often indicates the health of a person.

• Dead white hands: lack of circulation.
• Pink hands: sign of good health.
• Red hands: it may indicate high blood pressure.
• Bluish hands: it indicates a sluggish condition of the circulation of the blood supply.

On the other hand, we find the famous lines hand. The majority of hands will have the three major lines, life, heart and head line.

Life line
People with a long line tend to have a good health. A short line doesn’t indicate a short life. This is a myth and we have to look for other characteristics (deep, broken, etc). A deep line means a smooth life and a broken line struggles and losses.

Heart line
This line represents matters of the heart, both physical and metaphorical. People with a long line tend to be idealistic, with a short line self-centred and with a deep line stressful.

Head line
It represents the person's mind and the way it works. If you have a long line you are probably ambitious. However, a short line is a sign of intelligence an intuition.
