In my opinion, the qualities that impress the interview most are qualifications and work experience, because if you have the theory and have the background too is easy to adapt oneself at the new job.
I have been interviewed for my present job and I think that they took on me for my experience, but in my case the personality and the empathy were decisive. For this reason I recommend to appiicants to be honest and not be nervous, it is important to relax, smile and look the interviewer at his eyes.
