When we were children, the tendency of the time was to play with skateboards. We made skateboards easily using very simple and cheep materials.
You can build a skateboard by nailing two boards of hard wood, forming a cross. The boards are nailed by one big nail. The big nail in essence is an axis that allows you when you sit on the big board, the small board can turn left or right easily. On the opposite side of this main axis, on the edge of the large board as well as on both ends of the short board, is nailed six pieces of wood, in the shape of the cube, which are positioned by pairs in opposite side, at each end of the board. Each couple is connected with an iron shaft which is passed through the internal hoop of a bearing. The bearings are necessary for the vehicle to roll and as it rolls on an asphalt street they become very noisy. The more noise, the more successful is the construction of vehicle. But beware. Never forget to nail vertically at the middle of the large board a wooden peg so that when you pull the one side the other side to be in contact with the ground, causing friction thus to can act as a brake so that to being able to stop the vehicle.
