Landslide detection

It’s a new sub-surface sonic detection system that could predict a landslide before it happens. Sound-detecting wireless sensors need to be buried along the edge of unstable cliffs. The sensors detect any increase in "noise" being made by the soil. If a certain noise threshold is reached, a text message is sent to local authorities, warning them to evacuate people from the area.

I think this new invention can be useful to safe lives in many countries.
