Palmistry

Palmistry has its roots in Indian (Hindu) Astrology (known in Sanskrit as Jyotish) and Roma (gypsy) fortune tellers. The Hindu sage Valmiki is thought to have written a book, whose title translates in English as "The Teachings of Valmiki Maharshi on Male Palmistry", comprising 567 stanzas, more than 5,000 years ago.
lWhat is palmistry?
Palmistry or Chiromancy consists of the practice of evaluating a person's character or future life by "reading" the palm of that person's hand.
Technique:
Various "lines" ("heart line", "life line", etc.) and "mounts" (or bumps), supposedly suggest interpretations by their relative sizes, qualities, and intersections. In some traditions, readers also examine characteristics of the fingers, fingernails, fingerprints and palmar skin patterns, skin texture and color, shape of the palm, and flexibility of the hand.
The left hand is controlled by the right brain (pattern recognition, relationship understanding), reflects the inner person, the natural self, the anima, and the lateral thinking.
The right hand is controlled by the left brain (logic, reason, and language), reflects the outer person, objective self, influence of social environment, education, and experience.
Examples:
Someone with a short heart line is probably an egocentric person
Someone with a long heart line is probably an idealist person
Someone with a short life line could be a person without vitality
Someone with a long head line is probably an analytic person
