I would tell him that he should go calmest and relaxed. He can't demonstrate nervousness and impatiente. He doesn't have to show any interest in the wage because it could be his first job. He has to seem interested, specially, in achieving experience and learning.

The interviewer must see that you want to and can offer your services and knowledge to the company.
