"Domotica: mutation of the housing (Abstract) :
The technological innovations have always been applied and used in housing. Their incorporation has contributed to change not only the family relationships but also the structure of the city. Recently, the domotica, the use and adoption of new technologies of information and communication at home, it has started inducing changes in terms of the use and function of the housing, accentuating the alterations in the perception of space-time which have already been detected in other instances of daily life. Besides, we could also point out that the nature and function of housing is considerably mutting, which outlines challenges at the same time that constitute one of the main instances of social relationships, family interaction, daily life and structure of the city. "

I think those inventions would be useful or not if potential users are able to learn how to be in touch with machines... instead of other people.
