Toys I made

Yes, there is a toy I used to make when I was a child, a blowgun. But I wasn’t the only one between my friends or my classmates. Curiously, kids are the same everywhere and every time, and do the same things.

We wrote with cheap plastic pens, by the brand Bic (you can still find them in paper shops). Once we ran out the ink inside, we retired the piece that contains it and the little top that close the pen and we reused the tub, so large, as a blowgun.

We charged blowguns with rice grains or folded pieces of paper compacted by chewing. Fortunately, we hadn’t tinfoil.

We used blowguns as a weapon in our fights and battles, and often in the middle of the class. When one child started the first lunch, we watched that teacher didn’t look and we riddle everybody, everyone against everyone.
