Your role
You envision, implement & manage all editorial aspects related to Skynet portals, namely http://www.skynet.be, http://www.adsl.be and http://www.11foot.be.
Your editorial activities mainly consist in day to day animation of the portals and related channels.
You work in close collaboration with portal product managers and report to the Skynet portal services manager.
You work in a fast paced, high growth and constantly changing company & environment.
You manage editorial team (about 8 persons) and budgets
You are expected to set-up, lead, implement and constantly optimize the editorial strategy, in order to ensure market competitiveness and continuous audience improvement (recruitment of new profiles), while meeting advertiser (create the audience to sell the audience), distribution partner & consumer needs.
You coordinate activities/developments with all necessary stakeholders (internal or external) to ensure that business initiatives are seamlessly integrated with existing plans & goals are accomplished on time & within budget.
You have to establish and maintain appropriate systems for monitoring key performance indicators and lead all actions resulting from it
You continuously detect market trends and adapt strategy if appropriate.
Your qualities
You have a strong experience in three or more of the following areas:
Journalism or original content creation in a dynamic editorial environment (online, print, or broadcast);
new product development and user interaction writing/editing; technical writing/editing of instructional documentation;
product or project management;
marketing copy writing and editing.
You have a thorough understanding of editorial best practices and priorities and excellent writing and editing skills + the ability to integrate and apply these to Skynet business requirements.
You have experience and are passionate by new interactive digital media (internet, interactive advertising, search engine marketing, gaming, digital music, iDTV, social networking, mobile and online communities) & believe that they will fundamentally impact our personal & professional lives
You have strong communication skills,
You are able to work under pressure
You have a strong customer orientation
You speak fluently Dutch, French and English and write perfect Dutch or French
You know the basic principles of writing for the Web and you have a deep understanding of what makes a great online customer experience as demonstrated by easy-to-use interfaces and instructions for consumer web audiences.

Your role
As an account executive you are responsible for the follow up of your clients, in close collaboration with the Sales manager
Elaborate media plans and send commercial offers to clients
Follow-up and optimise campaigns to maximally satisfy your customers
Analyse campaign reports and communicate conclusions to the Sales Manager
Develop a long term relationship with your clients within media agencies
Be a strategic input for the marketing and IT department in the development of new products by sharing your experience with the market
Assist the Sales Manager in preparing presentations and commercial offers
Handle the after-sales work flow within the Sales Department by using the tools you have at you disposal
Your qualities
You have a degree in Communication or Marketing
Experience in a media or communications related company can be a plus (but school leavers are welcome as well)
You are customer and result oriented
You are a very good team player
You have a good knowledge of Excel and Access
Basic knowledge of HTML or Dreamweaver can be a plus (or able to learn fast new IT-solutions)
