I think it depens on what the interviwer are looking for. Sometimes qualifications are not essential to get a job where it's only important to have a good appereance and you can not make a civil construction project if you are not an engineer.
I think work experience is very important also the time you have been working in.
I've been interviwed in two ocasions, the experience was good in both cases, the first time i get it without problems. The second one was 1995 to get the job I'm still doing.
