Have you been interviewed for a job

I am very lucky because I have been only one time interviewed for a job (and is the job where I work).
But my friends, that past a lot of interviews, normaly say that is horrible, and in general, after, they don't tell them the result of the interview.

Me too, I 've just had only one experience, and is my present job.
Is true that is a general use not to say why an applicant has not been chosen for a position. I think it would make me feel very insecured.
