I don't belive in feng shui. I think the furnitures have not a positive or negative efect in the people.
Maybe some chair can be more confortable than other chair, but that chair have not an negative efect in me, and my person is not conditioned for the position of furnitures in my home.
I have a TV in my room, just enfront of my bed, and probably now, I'll hang a mirror. This is my way to demostrate the Feng Shui is not a real science.
