I think feng shui is common sense, although many times you can't apply it in your house due to the limits that exists, space, neighbors ... In Hong Kong there is a tradition of constructing houses, buildings according to the feng shui. For example the HSBC Building which has a wide open area (the Statue Square) in front of it, with no buildings blocking its view of Victoria Harbor. My sister-in-law in sweden tried to do one thing with the fent shui physicology in mind but it was so difficult.
