1. Have you, or has anyone you know, ever suffered from RSI or SAD?
No.

2. Do you make sure that you sit and type correctly when you use a computer or typewriter? Do you ever have pains in any parts of your body from using the computer for long periods of time?
No. I do not make sure that I sit and type correctly when I use a computer or typewrite.Perhaps I have got a pain in my wrist and got a sore neck.

3. What advice would you give to someone who has just bought a computer to prevent problems like RSI and aches and pains in the back, shoulders and arms? Write five suggestions. Read the suggestions of your classmates and vote for the best five.
First for the neck, stand or sit with your arms by your sides and look straight ahead. Slowly bend your head to the left towards your shoulder. Go as far as you can and hold the position for five seconds. Do this exercise five times on both sides.
Next for the shoulders and back, bend your left arm and hold your left elbow with your right arm. Gently push your left arm over your right shoulder. This stretches the shoulder and muscles of the back. Repeat five times with each arm.
Also, do these exercises a few times every day. You can also find lots of books and Web sites with exercises that are great for people who work with computers.
After that, you should always keep your wrists straight and flat – never bend them in any direction. Move the hands from the arms, not from the wrists. This is best. You can adjust your chair and keyboard to do this. Also remember to take lots of breaks to give your body a chance to rest.
Finally, using the mouse can also cause problems. Alternate hands sometimes with the mouse and learn how to use more of the keyboard controls instead of the mouse.

4. Do you think the exercises described in READING are very useful and effective?
Yes.

5. Do you do any exercises while or after working at a desk for a long period of time? Describe two.
I am doing yoga or playing badminton after working at a desk for a long period of time. In particular. yoga can pull the tendons and make the muscles not sour.
