Foreign languages at school

I propose that schools teach the country to speak Japanese. It allows us to approach and understand another culture from its own language. Searching the web for "proven" reasons why I study Japanese I came across a "contact Japan" text that tells us about 11 reasons why you should study Japanese. Here we have some: 1) is the ninth language spoken in the world and not only in Japan, so it is a true experience to be able to speak. 2) It stimulates brain development because it increases the action of both hemispheres, so it contributes to student learning. 3) broadens the world of reading, poetry and art. 4) It allows to increase the knowledge of the Japanese culture. 5) It increases the possibilities of accessing scholarships for study and work in Japan.
