If you arrive to Heatrow airport the most fast and cheap way to get in Torquay is by train. National rail offers tickets for £34.50 as cheapest fare. The journey takes 3 hours and 40 minutes and you should do two changes. First train goes from Heatrow terminals to London Paddington in only 22 minutes. Then you take a second train from Paddington to Exeter St Davids, which takes 2 hours and 11 minutes. The third one leave from Exeter after 10 minutes and takes 42 minutes more to arrive in Torquay.

One posibility is the rent car. It is te best and cheapest option if you travel with a group of people. You must travel for M4 until Woodlands Golf Club and M5 roads. The journey will take 4 hour and 12 minutes and there are toll road but you can see the landscape. Also the journey with your friends can be very funny.
