Searching the history of my family in Internet, I’ve found a page about the genealogy in“The Internet Surname Database” .There is extensive information about the different spellings in French, Spanish, Portuguese and German derivation. Moreover explain the origin, chronology and meaning of the surname.
Also I’ve found information in http://www.ine.es/fapel (Instituto Nacional de Estadística), about the distribution of my surname in Spain. There are only 561 persons who share my family name, most of them in Catalonia and Madrid regions.
