I really think that is possible that dolphins helped Nikki to speak. Once I made a TV report about how the animals can help boys with social problems or mental diseases. We shotted how some autistic childs ride horses and the therapists explain us that they had improved a lot their social conduct. Really when you have a child with any kind of problems you have to pay a lot of money for special schools, therapists, doctors and so on because the goverment doesn't usually pay this kind of things, but perhaps here in Spain you don't need so much money.

I have heard similar stories about other animals like dogs or horses. Some scientists say that dogs are a good way to help children with learning or social problems.
I knew a case related to an autistic boy. His doctor suggested his parents to buy a dog. They, the boy and his dog, started a therapy and in some months the boy had gotten better.
Some pedigrees of dogs are better to solve some type of problems than others.

About the quantity of money that Nikki’s mother spent, I think that most of parents would pay a lot of money to improve the situation of their sons and daughters. Mothers do a what be for their children.
