What pastimes are available on the Net?
The Net is full of pastimes for people that are bored at home. Games, Chats, General or specific information about everything (cooking, sports, hobbies,...) and just mention this new services like Twitter or Facebook. I am convinced that the Net has changed all the human habits in the free time. You can do everything you do surfing on the Net, it doesn't matter how freak is your hobby, you'll find some forum, some post or some webpage speaking about that. For example you can try to look for yourself in google. It's amazing, I have found that there 3 other people who's called exactly as me and my name and surname are not usual or I have found some activities I did a long time ago that are published on a web page. The internet is amazing, I think is one of the most revolutionaries inventions that human have ever done after the fire, the weel or the press.
