In Spain, men tend to work as bosses, engineers, doctors, polices, mechanics, truck drivers and investigators. On the other hand, women tend to work as secretaries, teachers, nurses and housekeepers.
In my opinion the situation is changing, since women have more opportunities than years ago to study and to get a qualified and well-paid job.
We have already known that 50 or 60 years ago, women finished their studies in an early age, got married, had children and became a house wife. Nowadays, women tend to work, earn a salary and do what they really want till a certain extent, since even in the S. XXI only a low percentage of women become bosses.
Moreover, some researches show that lots of secretaries have the same studies or more than their own boss! And for the same job, men tend to have a higher salary than women! We have to do something to change this situation, since it isn’t fair!
